City Championships Store Finals

CITY CHAMPS STORE FINALS: Standard Constructed

To see how you placed in our store rankings just follow this link: City Championship Rankings. If you are one of our Top 8 finishers and you cannot make it to the Store Finals, you must contact us as soon as possible. The top 8 players from the Store Rankings are invited to that store’s Final. Ties are broken by the highest number of first-place finishes, then second-place, etc. until the tie is broken. Absolute ties are broken by the highest-place finish in the first Qualifier event of the season. If any of the top 8 cannot show up for the Store Finals, then their invite(s) pass down to the 9th-ranked player, then 10th, etc. until 8 players are available. If 8 eligible players are not available to play on Saturday, March 22nd at 12:00 Noon the event is cancelled and no invitations will be awarded. This is a FREE event for the 8 qualified players.

Style: Standard Constructed Format, 16K with a regular REL, players will play a total of 3-Swiss rounds with NO TIME LIMIT. All decks must be sleeved. Wizards will provide prizes. The top two players from the Store Finals receive invitations to the 2008 City Championships for their City. Players that finish in the top 2 of a Store Final may not play in another Store Final.

-February 24, 2008: A Warhammer Fantasy Tournament will commence. The fee for this tournament will be $15, which goes towards the prizes. The more players we have the better the pay-out. There will be a Painting contest, and prizes for the top three winners and a sportsmanship award, in the form of Gift Certificates good at All Fun & Games. -The Knightly Order of the Fait Lux and All Fun & Games is hosting a Munchkin Charity Tournament that will be donating all funds to the Autism Society of NC and the Make a Wish Foundation of Eastern North Carolina. Registration fee is $10, and games will launch Sunday March 9^th at 12PM and end around 6PM, games can be started at anytime between 12PM and 5PM. Registration starts now! Munchkin Charity Tournament!

Date: Sunday, March 9th

Time: 12:00 Noon

Fee: $10.00, All Proceeds from the Munchkin Tournament will go towards Autism Society of NC and the Make a Wish Foundation of Eastern North Carolina

Registration: Call or email us with your Name & Phone number, we have 48-Seats available for that day’s tournament.

Style of Play: Games will start at 12:00 Noon, you will be able to play in as many Munchkin games as you can from 12PM–5PM, recording your scores after each game. At 5PM the “ Ultimate Munchkin Title Fight” will begin. Six players with the highest combined score will compete in one final showdown to see who claim the title of “Ultimate Munchkin” and In addition to other prizes to be announced later, the tournament winner will get one of the brand new, not available for purchase, can only be won, Munchkin Silver Piece . All standard Munchkin rules apply, with a bonus Special Charity Rule - "At anytime during the game if you are not in combat, you can donate $1 and get a treasure card. OR if you are in combat, you can donate $2 for a treasure card."
